Douglas Duane Kohl, age 56, of Fort Ripley, passed away unexpectedly at St Gabriel’s Hospital on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Doug was born in Brainerd to Duane & Sharon (Allord) Kohl on April 2, 1967.He was a foreman at Stewart Wood Products for many years.

Doug loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid sports fan of the Minnesota Sport teams, the Twins, Wild and the Vikings!

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Duane; daughter, Ashley Kohl; son, Randy Kohl; siblings: JoAnn Witt, Brian Kohl, Michelle Gottwalt and Kevin Kohl; nieces and nephews.

Doug is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon; sisters: Wendy Lindberg and Kimberly Kohl; nephews: Jordan and August Kohl.

A celebration of Life for Doug will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 12PM - 3PM at the St Mathias Pavilion.

Interment at Riverside Cemetery near Brainerd.
